Lammily: Hopes Backstory

My daughter and I received our Lammily doll and I decided I wanted to play with her and will purchase a couple of more to save of the 1st Edition. Anyway I have discovered other Lammily Enthusiasts on Facebook : D So we are playing with them, making clothes and dressing them and creating backstories and here is mine :D

The Story of Hope:
Hope was born Frances Hope Johnson on 1996 in Denver CO. She goes by her middle name Hope. Her mother was a teacher and her dad repaired and rebuilt old machinery that he sold across the country through an online auction site.

She has an older sister and a younger brother and the family had 2 cats and 2 dogs and a lizard. She does not eat meat or dairy and was a Vegan and Animal Activist.

She left Colorado to go to school in California at UC to become an Environmentalist. She lives in a college dorm with two other roommates. She loves to read science fiction. Her favorite food is Indian. She does not like sweets too much except homemade vegan sugar cookies. She tries to stay away from processed foods but her favorite is fishless filets from Gardein and has them at least a couple of times a week and loves going to Chipotle.

She has a pet rabbit named Carrot. Carrot is a rescue rabbit from a fur farm in China. She was down there protesting with the rescue group she is active in and fell in love with him. He is orange and white with red eyes.

She was able to go to school on a scholarship for good grades and HS participation. She has a part time job as a waitress at the local college restaurant. Her parents like to send her money but she does not always like to accept it and pay her own way. So she puts that money in Savings.

Her favorite color is orange and she taught herself how to play the acoustic guitar from YouTube. She loves to splurge on shoes. Her favorite pair of shoes are her Nike tennis shoes that she has worn out and had for years but she is constantly buying new tennis shoes as well as heels, sandals, boots etc. Her favorite sport is tennis and has won third place in the state of California Championships. She doesnt like football but has her friends over on Sundays when its on.

She believes in GOD but not religion and trying to find her spiritual place. She goes out sometimes to Karaoke but mostly is a homebody.

And that is all about Hope! :D

my letter to barbie

this is regarding the general fashion of barbies NOW (not the collector dolls) the new dolls that come out for

girls vs what we had in the 80s and 90s now truly SUCK! there is no originality, no layers of material, no good

themes, its really disappointing, they have made a little progress with the dreamhouse dolls but even barbie, from

the barbie dreamhouse is PLAIN and flat...idk how else to describe the majority of the outfits are just flat pieces

of fabric colored on and the same colors reused over and over and over and over and over again. idk who i need to

talk to up the food chain but between my daughter and myself we buy a lot of new as well as the older dolls,

ESPECIALLY the older dolls from the 80s and 90s because their clothes at least have some imagination. go look at

your latest inventory of dolls on the market now and see how poorly the designs are.

KEN omg yall have him GAY, watching him on the dreamhouse i just shake my head WHAT did you do to ken????

AND PLEASE PLEASE MAKE A CELEBRITY MADONNA BARBIE!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!

also yall need a realistic barbie, now what yall did in 2000 was ok, but now yall got competition with lammily, we

already ordered ours, we love ALL kinds of styles of fashion dolls but love Barbie the most.

we order dolls pretty much daily the 80-90s dolls online and the newer styles locally for my daughter and myself.

She is 10 years old and I am 31 years old. My daughter gets ideas for fashion but its hard when the styles now dont

give you much to work with and she gets great ideas from the older dolls.  we have also attempted to make our own

doll clothes plus we have purchased fashion doll clothes *handmade from online sources.

my daughter is also requesting a doll to copy from the movie disney life size with tyra banks and lindsey lohan. ,

i am also frustrated with the dolls yall have, the way they look, i have googled up and down and went all over

looking for a "Dark Brown Hair Barbie with BLUE Eyes" the closest i came to that is Spring Petals Barbie Second in

Series (which I ordered) and this cheerleading doll. I wanted it for me, since those are my features. You know how

American Girl Dolls have dolls to look like the girl but why not Barbie dolls? that would be a successful new line

i think like Barbie like You or something like that.

you know what would be awesome? imagine a REAL girl of today, with the average weight and height, with dark hair

with blond and other colored streaks and shoulder length hair, with just one tattoo, blue or brown eyes, and some

nice layered fashionable outfit of what chicks are wearing nowadays

another line could be a doll whose hair grows long and then can grow short again since all girls are tempted and do

cut their dolls hair (guilty) and my daughter has as well

my daughter said another doll you wet her hair and her hair changes color

if it helps my favorite doll is Sparkle Eyes Barbie and my daughters is her Hannah Montana doll. Which i play

barbies with her, we dress up our dolls and such.

just please enough of the drabby dolls and quit being lazy with the fashion

disappointed barbie fan and parent
